Totally agree, and I used to be a Labour Party member.
But they take don't give a toss about us, they just take our money and kick us in the teeth.

Find a way to use the political fund to aid strikers who suffer loss of houses or go bankrupt in the support of the union. We would have to force CWU to redefine the POLITICAL fund.

Get an opt out form from your CWU Branch Secretary, Organiser, or Political Officer (if you have one).

why opt out individually, the unions are not enough, we need a party to unite the struggles in all aspects of society - lets fight to develop a new working class party out of the ruins of the old, which was never any good anyways.

Thanks. :Very Happy . I would rather the money went to a charity. I find it odd that we pay towards a political party that seems to back the two twats that are trying to destroy us and the service we provide?

It's not so strange really. Billy Hayes and Dave Ward are both members of the Labour Party. There's probably only Jane Loftus on the top table who isn't a member of the Labour Party and that's only because the party she belongs to was thrown out of the Labour Party for persistant use of the word 'socialism'. Other banned words include the following: Peace. International Brotherhood. Workers. Fraternal. Comrade. Kier Hardy. Trade Union. Liberty.
Words which are positively encouraged include: Bush. Thatcher. Bombing. Casualties. Fairness not Favours. Identity Card. Sequestration.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common."

Just look at how Gordon Brown-nose was cosying up with Thatcher yesterday. Labour by name, Tory by policy, designed to arrtract votes from as many as possible.
