X Rays
Heard today that following an AOD where an OPG slipped and broke his wrist, the DSM wanted to see the x rays so he could ascertain for himself the extent of the injury.
Beggars belief.

You have to respect that level of commitment to the business.
I wonder if RM funded his training....

Re: X Rays
I kid you not.......
As the OPG had slipped and broken his ankle during the same period last year (i.e - winter) they wanted to treat it as a recurring pattern of absence.

I think the manager has been standing too close to the X Ray machine.motherhubbard wrote:I kid you not.......

Does it have to be the same ankle for it to be recurring or will either do?

Re: X Rays
The only x-ray that works on Dims is you shine a torch in his ear and if light comes out of the other he's fully qualified!

Re: X Rays
He's wasted as a DSM then! Given the length of training and experience required to become a radiologist, they command high wages!
What a twonk.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

I would say I was happy to attend any facility they like, to get xrays taken in company time ;)

Re: X Rays
lol custardly.
The guy has a fit note in I'm guessing stating he has a broken arm/leg/whatever, that should be more than enough.

Re: X Rays
has anybody considered the data protection act issues on this
the DOM is not the data subject and has no right to this data (xray)
(ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS ACT 1988)
the only people that are authorized to request this data with your consent are ATOS
i would seriously consider a complaint on this and for you to contact legal and medical at branch over this matter

WHAT, His broken limbs twice in a year its just not good enough for the new RM image, terrible way to treat such a caring employer and cost them money.
Its past belief really, the way we are being treated
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........
