Heard today that following an AOD where an OPG slipped and broke his wrist, the DSM wanted to see the x rays so he could ascertain for himself the extent of the injury.
Beggars belief.

As the OPG had slipped and broken his ankle during the same period last year (i.e - winter) they wanted to treat it as a recurring pattern of absence.

has anybody considered the data protection act issues on this
the DOM is not the data subject and has no right to this data (xray)
(ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS ACT 1988)
the only people that are authorized to request this data with your consent are ATOS
i would seriously consider a complaint on this and for you to contact legal and medical at branch over this matter

WHAT, His broken limbs twice in a year its just not good enough for the new RM image, terrible way to treat such a caring employer and cost them money.
