It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

What ever happened to Cluster f**ks?
One minute they were the new DSM's...the next they were busted back down.
I guess even management have a saturation point.

Well I believe they were made up of those seen as capable but had to shift the old guard first. Now that has happened in part they don't need the extra tier. One of my old DOMs took the money BUT they were gunning for him big style - he took VR before christmas one of three in this area. He held out as long as possible against the modernisation of his office but the inevitable overtook him.
