delivery office resign?
after revision there will only be four single driving duties left.we first were told they would go on seniority but now they may go on mtsf whats the correct procedure?

Sounds like the driving duties are ring fenced,which means those who get driving allowance or are already driving get 1st pick.

I'm guessing each office do things differently,for instance at my place there were 4 drives plus 2 rest day covers,there was only 6 drivers anyway so it just went on seniority.
If say though there was 8 drivers,6 on allowance and 2 not,then the 6 on allowance would of got 1st choice.

We're having a revision right now, and with it we are having a resign throughout the whole office. Are the driving shifts protected from delivery postmen who are senior to them? i know a senior driver can take a duty off a postman during the resign, so can a delivery postman who is senior to a driver, take a driving shift at resign???

I would doubt that you could use MTSF for the normal £6 reserved rights driving allowance although it's not the clearest of documents.
There would be nothing in it for Royal Mail because there is no driving allowance now so it's not as if they would have to pay twice....which is usually their reasoning.
