We are being told by doms if we can't deliver special delivery by 1pm to fail them ie after 1pm, is this the norm in other offices? Packets also being left regularly ....what's the score any advice?

What is your rep doing about it,he should be demanding you break off and finish them all.
This and packets being left should be flagged up to your area rep.

Ask him if he is prepared to put that instruction in writing.

Loops weren't designed with any time to break off and deliver them before 1pm not a problem Mon, Tue, sat, but failing them every other day...failed 3 today....just have no time to break off

just leave em in pouch box and p739 them thats our mgmt answer

We were told if you get there after 1pm, don't use the PDA use a Card and just ask the person to sign and print and not mention putting the time in, needless to say we asked them to put the time down and inform sender that they can claim the money back.

Not allowed to use cards if you have a PDA.............so I would always use the PDA and let them suffer

No.
I can only imagine how these managers explain away the failing Special Deliveries because they will show up as failures and someone is going to want to know why.

I mentioned this a while ago, I believe RM don't get fined for normal packets when they delay them, But I think thats still will full delay IMHO

Its not right to fail specials after 1pm, bet your office bosses won't put that in writing
