I was wondering what the frames will be like next week as i'm a sat. worker - my manager has told me that i will be driving with a fellow colleague and that i won't be going my usual walk duty...She told everything will be sorted when ii get in next week - will the frames be one big one or will it just consist of two walks just as a team?

Ermm...No idea - as i'm a saturday part time worker i'm not given info that often :( I told my manager to give me the streets i'll be doing but told i'll be told when i get in on saturday

For the trolley - yes, basic open and close mechanism and the manager said they'll teach me the pda on saturday!!
Btw why pda??? Would that mean i wouldn't need the delivery sheet (epod) anymore??

Try and take a signed for sheet with you as the PDA's have a habit of running out of charge or decide to reboot whilst your at a customers door. No matter how many times you hand them the PDA the customers always turn them around and press all the buttons!

If you've been trained on how to use it and you have been issued your pin number you have to use it. Just make sure you take a card with you as a back up.

Also with the trolleys make sure you have some bag clips so you can fasten the bags to the trolleys either side .Put the packets in one and mail in the other is the best way

Also how do i post - sounds stupid but i'm only use to one pouch/one bundle method - will i have to drag the trolley everywhere i go - and also would this pose as a danger because say as i'm posting but the house is up a few steps - i will have to leave the whole trolley exposed wouldn't i??

If you're just popping up some steps to deliver,just make sure the trolley pouches are zipped up,tbf they should always be zipped up anyway.
If you have to go into flats then the trolley needs to be zipped up and padlocks used,then the trolley needs to be chained up to something.

This kind of stuff especially if you have to leave the trolley unattended should of been sorted during the revision.

There arn't any zips Postman, the are just delivery pouches hooked on to a golf trolley. Zips must be a London thing
