How do you get that much if the dog owner is skint?

I claimed for a dog bite, it took me nearly 2 years to receive anything and then i got £500

One thing to bear in mind is if you take time off sick good olde Royal Mail will want your wages back.

One of the guys I work with was bitten by the same dog twice, the owners of the dog move it about to relatives houses throught the area he delivers in

You need to make sure you fill in the form already quoted, it is usually passed to simpson and Millar ( I have mixed reviews about them) If you are still suffering after 15 weeks you then contact DWP to get a medical ( I was left with a permenant scar and have mental issues) this culminated in 6 per cent disability for life)

Most cases you will find it is done through home insurance and not the folks who have the dog.

Rm always claim lost wages back off you but it is usually not part of compansation and got off the insurance company as expenses.

Keep all reciepts

I got 5K and I am now in the throws of having been bitten again by another dog processing a claim though I have been told that the claim will not be so big, though I still have a scar

One of our lot got bit last week, but came into work the next day. It's quite a nasty bite, the dog drew blood and there's a lot of bruising. WIll he be able to claim compensation, or has he blown it by coming back to work too early?

My first dog bite I did not have time off, and my claim was successful but it did happen on public highway with witness

but I did have 12 weeks of congenitive therapy paid by the third parties insurance,

I think it's like a lot of things bringon,the average rep/member does not know what we on here know.
And by 'we' I mean the helpful clued up members who post on here.
Many reps/members do know and they post on here,but many more don't.

i suppose it depends if your a docket king or queen and your going to lose your overtime you might have a claim but i would be interested in making a claim next time
