Haven't heard anything about it going, I am surprised you still have any duties with a 4am start ours went several years ago. It does seem unfair to get rid of 4/5am shift allowances, imo these are more antisocial hours than late shift which gets a larger allowance!

I don't think the allowance can just go,they can't turn round and say next week guys it's going.
If you do the allowance times you will get it.
If due to a revision you don't do the times then i guess you get that payment for a while thing.

Under MTSF you should receive 3 years pay protection ,dependent upon time in duty,if RM decide to change your start time.
