leave list

we finally got next year(april-2012-2013)leave list,berring in mind we are still filling in this years aftr 2 years,we think it is abit late.

it was found on the phg's desk whilst he was on holiday.he had already picked his.(top of list)
this list wasvery odd,noone off between chrimbo and new years and instead of the usual two off,some weeks have 4.

so we all started picking our first 2 weeks,no problem.i have a week off now and was informed by my postie that the leave list was a complete fook up and needed to be re done.but instead of our brainless phg just writing in the holidays already written down he started again from scratch.

long story short,i got a call from a mate saying he has the list and the weeks i want off are no longer avalible because the phg and the union reps dad have moved there choices to one of my weeks

not a problem usually but 18 months ago i booked a very posh two weeks in mexico,ive constantly asked for the leave list to be started.ive told most people when i want off and they have agreednot to take those weeks.

now there is no way i am not going to mexico..so ideas please

how to get the weeks i had asked for for months and that i had booked already but now find myself without a paddle..

i also doubt that if i chat about it to the manager i will get very far as i just had im hauled over the coals by his superiors (again used very loosly)for interfering in a union election.

they will have to honour your leave its not your fault they have taken so long to sort the leave out we cant sit around and wait for ever.

Exactly the same in our office, we have only picked the 1st two weeks of this years leave, as the D.O.M seems to think there is north to get it completed.

We've got 3 weeks done (and even that was a fight) so only 3 more to go (plus all the carried over ones ).

Someone recently (just before Xmas I think) posted on here about if your next year's annual leave has not been sorted by October of the previous year, you can simply show evidence of having booked a holiday eg. your trip to Mexico; and it has to be honored.
