Within our delivery office,we have had the P & L revision.
Thats been in place,for sometime now.
But now the business has turned round and said that"We need to take another 200 HOURS out of the office"
Quite how the bloody hell,they are gonna achieve that,is beyond me ....
Perhaps,they are gonna get Paul Daniels involved ..

Has your park and loop been a success are members finishing early and your DIM is clocking the times.

Could be one reasoning .

Fight the 200 hours how have they identified these savings ? let them take them by E/A as that goes against the B/T agreement.

You cant just pluck a bunch of numbers out the air I would expect some evidence to back the savings up.

They wont be happy until only one posties left to deliver a vast area the size of f***ing Pluto.

Its all about privatisation ,the general public will think the service couldn't get any worse under a private company so there will be no resistance from them.

Then we will all be made redundant on the proviso that we are re-employed on the minimum wage.

Then to top it off are duties will be franchised off to us.

And ive only got another 27 years in the business to go Oh how bright the future is.

What i think is they are planning on in real terms taking out 150 hours. They say to your rep and staff that 200 hours has to come out the office. Few weeks later they come back and say we have had a look at things and are now planning on taking 150 hours out. Everyone thinks yippee, we love our dom as we have saved 50 hours from going but really they were never planning on taking those 50 anyway. Its how most businesses work these days im afraid.

Ask them? Or failing that, sneak up to his/her PC when they are AFK and click on the 'Help' heading (assuming it's got one) in the Georoute menu, then click on 'About Georoute' (again, assuming such a menu option exists) and you will probably find a software version listed there.
