It was the waterproof jacket that had the removable fleece.Although there was a fleece body warmer that RM supplied.Worked great with the harrington, on chilly days.

The inner fleece was on the cold weather jacket which had removable sleeves to turn it into a bodywarmer. Around the 90 s to the change in uniform 2000 ish ? The harington didn't have a inner.

Originally, you had a quilted inner jacket that went under the waterproof one. you also had for summer wearthe lovely quilted jacket with removable sleeves, I still wear a patched up one.! When the harringtons were introduced, you got a scabby sleevless fleece to wear inside.

Coudn't wear mine, as the static in it use to really irritate my skin! Although I do still have the long sleeved summer fleece we got at the same time--that did seem to keep the wind out.

I used to have the elmer hat but threw it out sadly, nobody in the office ever wore it!

Here's one of my old harringtons I kept for old times sake complete with the old brass name badges we used to get. I'm not Welsh by the way, got this one off ebay some years back!
