Part of delivery is nearer to another d.o

Part of my delivery is 1 mile from our town delivery office but 6 miles from my d.o.
As you can imagine some people don't understand why they cant collect p739 items from the d.o nearer to them!

Our new office is in another delivery area. We don't deliver to the people on the same road as where we are based! :crazy:

LS8 D.O. is in LS9.In February LS9 D.O. is moving 3 miles to LS14.All their vans will have to travel 6 miles every day just to get to their delivery area and back to their D.O. :arrrghhh

but that happens in many cases
we have a DO right on the edge of our delivery area
so people can see that DO from their house, but our DO is thier office
you can't have evey DO in the centre of every delivery area
3 postcides in the city dont even have their DO in their postcode

I work from an SPDO behing AAA Post Office and some of my most distant recidences moan at driving four miles to AAA Post office to collect a parcel when they live only two miles from BBB Post Office, not realising that BBB is served directly fron the CCC town Delivery office and so residents there have an eight mile drive to CCC to collect their parcels, the BBB Post Office not having an SPDO. :shock: :sad: :shock:

My last cycle delivery was 2.5 miles from my delivery office but only 1.4 miles from a neighbouring office.

yes i had a delivery six miles from our office but 2 miles from another office its just how it is :nana
