Lapse walks again

They lapsed 3 walks in my office today and I'm happy to say alot of ppl didn't do it today. About time we stand up and stop them taking the piss out of us!

Still got a few what do that, ppl r so thick! What is the point in cutting corners and finishing early it's only going to end up with you getting more work in the end, job and knock is over ppl, get that into your heads!

a few people in my office finish at 10 / 11 paid until 2, the managers love it as they provide extra vans and save on OT.
and btw its the floaters who do this not the walk holders, so when stuff does get added on the walk holder loses out big time.

Yes floaters (not all floaters)are the ones who ruin the dutys ,in my case im always well over and when the floater goes on hes 1hr early .The usual -reading mail and driving, no seatbelt,doesnt lock van , and goes round on two wheels .Comes in 1hr early takes 10 mins of a break and what do i do LAUGH cause these guys are making a rod for there own back .Once the boss tried the old (how can he do it and u cant )all i say is time the delivery end of story

We have P&L in our office yet some of the f***wits use their own cars. The linos turn a blind eye as its always the flyers.

Thing is the managers could be in deep s**t it anything goes wrong - its not just the worker that has responsibility for correct insurance when using their PCODs. Management have a responsibility to ensure H&S and that includes policing and acting on "unofficial practice". Although I think that any postie caught out by the Police will be handing his balls over to the management and will be sacked, and that local management will cover for each other, eventually a Manager will be caught out and suffer the consequences.

Anyone thinking of using PCOD after P&L needs a reality check - whatever management say the Bond will not cover you, and your insurance will not cover you either. Why, because even if you have a gold plated, iron clad insurance policy that covers everything from acts of god, to running over a squirrel, you won't have permission from your employer to carry mail, or use the car for work - and without permission your insurance is not worth the paper its written on, at least thats how I understand it.
