So, TNT has a simple life.
I won an ebay auction they sent it via TNT. I happened to be in all day no delivery. Then at 6pm I got a call from a call centre asking me when I'd like to pick it up from their edge of town depot. No P57whatsit nothing left with neighbors. So, do I have any rights regarding a 're' delivery?

No too difficult to deal with this, not delivered so raise a query/complaint and get your money back...............

The outcome so far is pathetic. I went to the depot on the far side of the city. Had to get out of car at the gate to take to man in security desk. Needed car reg, Item number, name and address, plus photo id. Then given a hi vis vest (!) and visitor card id. Back in car told to wait for gate and drive to cone about 10 meters from door in to pick up point. When picking up asked if there is usually a card to say they attempted delivery. Yes there is. As I hadn't got one put through I suggested the driver had knocked off early and not bothered to attempt. I was asked if I lived in a block of flats - whatever the relevance of that is escapes me. I don't in any case. Given complaints phone number at my request. Items got and back to car then a drive round the one way system on the site to the security desk where I had to get out of the car walk to the window returning the vis vest and id. And away. Utterly pathetic. Way worse than an RM callers office and I think those are really bad.
It was the sellers choice. I won't be asking for them in future.
