If they chase us up I think we should give them the same treatment as they did us when we wanted to contact them

Excellent idea! After they've tried to contact me for weeks, I'll randomly just give them 17% of what they're owed with no explanation at all. Of course, over this time I will make promises to them of full payment - promises I've no intention of honouring.

Resorting to the £350 cash payments was always going to create even more mess. It's Angard's mess to sort out, let's see if they are capable of doing it. Somehow I doubt it, and they will end up writing off thousands.
I didn't get the £350 payment, and I haven't been paid anywhere near that. More unfairness.

Debt recovery will be used in instances where reasonable efforts have been made and failed to reach an agreement on repayment of the overpayment.
4.8 In instances where a casual employee is overpaid, People and Organisational Services will notify the employee concerned. Unless people have been paid entirely by voucher Royal Mail may have trouble identifying who has actually been overpaid and worse yet may think some people have been overpaid who havent.

I worked with a few people who have been told that they have been paid but have not, and the reverse has also been true people who have been paid have been told they have not.

There is also the Tax situation to think of as well since if Angard cant pay the employees correctly it is possible that they havent paid the Inland Revenue either and they could go after us for payment of any tax due rather than Angard

With the Tax if RM ask for any money back you could tell them that you want to make sure the right Tax and NI has been paid to them before you pay any back as the Tax office I believe will chase you not Angard and you cant tell at this moment because a lot of you didnt get payslips so you might have to wait until you get either a P45 or P60 from Angard showing how much you got paid and how much Tax and NI that was deducted and of course going by their actions (ANGARD) that could take some time in being received by you. NOT SURE IF ITS A P45 OR P60

And tell them that only a minority of the people you owe money to have had a problem. :Very Happy

With no Payslip I have no idea how much tax & NI should have been paid, I know how many hours I have worked and when, however I have a feeling alot of us will be screwed on Friday and we will be chasing them up for months on end.
