Chrimbo Eve tomorrow.

After a few weeks of packet mania and going over every day will they give us a good day tomorrow or push as much deferred shite as they can find?

After one of the heaviest weeks Ive ever had,12 years on the job, our DIM has "promised" we will have it easy tomorrow..yeah and Wrexham will win the FA cup !!

It was beyond shite at ours in the end. Got In at 10.45 first thing I saw was 10-15 people still putting up. Full walks have been left in and parcels haven't been touched since Thursday it's all been tracked and specials.

On my way home before 1130, earliest ever finish, albeit I did not use all my meal relief for a change.

Now if managers knew it was going to be so light, why were the PTers asked to start at 0600 to prep their rounds?

Still claimed my full prep o/t hours, regardless of the early finish, will be hell to pay if they take anything off... It's the manager's job to sort out how many staff hours are needed on any given day, they cannot request early starts by the PT staff and then adjust how much o/t they claim according to their finish time (if that was clearly communicated as their intentions then I suspect I would not have been the only one who would rather not get out of bed before 0500) when FT were finishing even earlier and getting 8 hours pay that finished at 1230!
