To drive or not to drive?

Our office is having a delivery methods revision after Christmas and we have all been asked if we want to drive for RM. I have a nasty feeling that our drivers are going to be messed about. We don't have many drivers in our office and knowing the way our managers work, I can see them being constantly moved to cover duties for annual leave and sick.

How has being a driver worked for you? What happened to people that refused to drive?

Well I wasn't going to be a driver. But when it came to a resign if I was a non-driver it would have really restricted my choice of walks as if a non-driver had already signed for one walk in a pairing I couldn't sign for the other walk, as there had to be at least one driver in each pair.

Being the drivers not so bad, not any worse than being the non-driver anyway!

I appreciate that non-drivers end up with less of pick, but I can see nothing but heart ache for those that pick driving and reading a few post's on here seems to confirm that.

If you pick a passenger duty you'll more than likely end up driving at some point anyway - happens all the time in our office with lots still using their own cars.

But you still don't drive, its your choice, but once you decide, don't ever drive again for RM

That is the question, whether it be nobler in the mind to suffer bullying and harassment
