On Monday the p/t staff started at 7 30 thats 1 hour earlier than normal,and it was the worst day that most of the whole office can remember.The amount of mail was unreal.The earliest people left the office to start delivery was 9 30 and the rest were between 10 and 10 45(3 50 delivery + travel + break + extra time for just the heaviness of all the bags).14 30 finish time.Needless to say that amost all went over their time and were claiming today.
Why does it have to be this way.Working later rather than earlier. I know people say just work to your time,but in reality you know that you are pressured to clear the mail,you will bring attention to yourself as trouble maker and not a good worker and all that.And the way the economy is we dont need to be worried about our jobs.
Its the bussiest time of the year and for only 2 weeks.Cant RM have us come in earlier than 1 hour so we can get our jobs done as early as possible,rather than being out delivering to late afternoon when most of the secure entrance buttons have gone past their opening time,and basically just doning a better service.Most peolpe in my office are happy when they get to leave the office early but when they leave later they are peed off.

We have had our revision and are doing park and loop and I have never cleared my job I have always had to cut off and leave about 2 loops,I have been called names and they have tried to intimidate me but I know my rights and stick to my guns,their idea,their plans,their f@@k up and their problemMAILMAN84 wrote:Lol lucky for some.
