Yeah, same as Door 2 Doors are more important than packets and parcels :shock: .

You can roll your packets and parcels over, but the Door 2 Doors must go :roll: .

I remember this from last year, DSA / business mail taking priority of cards.. Business is king, personal mail is small peanuts in comparison.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Yep, same on our manor. Saturday we were told to take downstream access (letter to all local housing association residents and I mean ALL) and leave packets. On a saturday. When most people are in. This is after the team talk/huddle that said complaints were up. No sh*t Sherlock!

DSA is being sent through for the CSS machines in preference to Christmas cards which are now arriving on the 2nd run!

Excellent managerial skills :crazy: :crazy: ....... Every edition of the voice tells us how much we loose on DSA, how unfair it is etc etc, so our wonderfull management team decide to give it priority and the bulk customers realise they not only get a better, but also a much much cheaper service by using our competitors !!!!!!! Win them back...... get real would anyone come back :no no :no no .
Meanwhile the time which generates most profit for RM due to Xmas card / packet postings is afforded a poor service at an extortianate price (46p for a first class stamp, used to be 26p a few years back :shock: :shock: ), what a way to run a company :dance :dance :dance

Playing Devils advocate here :nervous :nervous

DSA firms are more likely to kick up a stink AND get Royal Mail fined if their mail is delayed beyond the legal limits, but Granny Smith is unlikely to do anything other than complain to her family, or worst case write to the times or local paper. The managers are playing it by numbers and taking a gamble on who will cause more trouble later on.
