Should be about 20 yorks to be sorted tomorrow, to go with the other 20 that have'nt been touched and not a bit of snow in sight Its not that I dont care, its just that theres nothing I can do about it. RM pay me to do 6 hours work, I do six hours work (+ more usually). The rest is someone elses problem; if I can't (and it is can't not won't) do it then well, pft. It doesn't matter if it's packets, letters or whatever. It HAS to be delivered when it arrives in your office. Yes, it's a busy period and there's a lot of work, but if that's the case, then there should be additional staff, aka casuals, who will help to get everything delivered on time.
If a manager tells you to "leave them for tomorrow", that's WILLFUL DELAY, as far as I'm concerned, which is AGAINST the Conduct Code and a perfect reason for a disciplinary, possibly sacking?

Yes, we CAN'T do anything when it comes to delivery, but THINK OUTSIDE OF THE DELIVERY BOX - open your eyes.
When you SEE that your manager is INTENTIONALLY delaying mail, make a formal complaint and get the f***ing idiot disciplined or sacked.
When posties CLEARLY see that managers are f***ing around and breaking the Conduct Code on day to day basis, they should COMPLAIN to every f***ing place possible.
One of the reasons why RM has retarded managers is because posties fail to complain about the "work ethic" of their managers and it just carries on and on. Personally, the maximum I've seen posties do, is whisper to each other how they don't like this and that, but they never do anything about it...
Hopefully, I'm wrong and there are people who stand up for themselves and obey the rules, but they are the minority...At least, that's how I see it.
