What is the official finish of a posties job

Ok so I am still confused as to what exactly is the time I should go up to for my overtime. To date I have been going up until I pouch of my packets at either the DO or the nearest post office. or post box. But when you sign for overtime they ask you what address your last letter is, so is this the time I should be claiming up to. If it is then its pretty crap, because it takes me another 10-15 minutes to get rid of all the packets and recorded that I P739'nd.

They always try this. Just ask them what they want doing with the returns as they are no longer your responsibility once they stop paying you.

Before our park&loop revision anyone who didn't finish at the office got a 15 min pouching off allowance so it would be last letter plus 15 mins.
Now everybody finishes at the D.O.

If you go back to the office, then you finish when you walk out the door. If you pouch off then I would imagine that you finish after you've handed over whatever it is you've pouched off. It shouldn't matter what time your last letter was. Sometimes I'm getting paid up until 45mins after last later. Thats doing a rural that finished 30 mins drive away from office, and it takes 10 or 15 mins to empty van and log all the returns.
In theory another duty I do, on foot, I could still be getting paid 1.5hrs after last letter as there is a bus back every hour and if I just miss it, then its an hours wait, 15 min journey and 10 or 15 mins to sort returns.
