Finally received contract back - any 'meaning' to this?

I've finally received my contract back, which had to be sent TWICE to Angard, should I read anything into this?

I've already received my ID badge (after they couldn't find my photos and I had to send new ones ).

Am I just clutching at straws?

It's a 'flexible resource' (i.e casual in plain English), not a specific Xmas job.

No! I posted elsewhere that "Flexible" means you are available to whatever "assignement" Angard want you to go to any hour any day anywhere. Like it or lump it, plenty more names on the list.

I guess people just assumed that they would be working where they wanted on the days they wanted on the shifts they wanted......WRONG! Angard prefere the square peg round hole approach.

Which is why I've now decided to seek alternative employment.

Last year, it was first come, first served, you got your letter on the day confirming your shift and start date.

If it ain't broke...

Angard are the lowest scamming worms. They are taking the shift bonus for themselves to fund their sophisticated "operation". I've got work on Monday but will I be paid or even allowed on site to start? Pitiful wages from 1999 levels and we have to do a 48 hour week. No Angard representatives on site, odd for such a large contract. If there were they would be thrown into the sorting tumblers and sent to Moya Greene-RM Chief Exec- in a reject bag. Mark is right about the flex thing,but if you're out of work and you get the call for a few days work then it's something i suppose,or is it.
Although i don't know how you guys would deal with the dole office on a weekly basis.A nightmare?
