HI All,
Does anyone know how the closed period for Christmas pressure is defined??
Our DOM is trying to close 5 wks next year and i cannot find where it states how long he can close.
Any help greatly received.

Dont know when Christmas Pressure starts officially but for me it starts tomorrow - 4 weeks of maximum excess. Give me that overtime sheet NOW!!!!

Way Forward.
If you have a Christmas agreement...don't agree it.
Notice it doesn't say determined by the operational unit manager.The leave year will be April to March. The Christmas pressure period, determined by the operational unit, will be a closed period for leave

Christmas pressure has already started in my office (extra OT, Sunday working, extra vans) so I'm not surprised that RM are moving the goalposts on annual leave. There was a PP presentation to managers which said that it should be looked at but I don't think there's any agreement to it (but when has an agreement ever mattered to RM).

Personally I don't like taking off in November/December, I much prefer January, February when the weather is really crap
