Dont know about you lot but I think we did the right thing true to our word we suspended strikes pending meaningful negotiations, well Royal Mail have ansewered the call. The true colors have been shown, there going to do what they want todo fair play, but its us that has to make it work. You aint using my free time my car and just to top it off my goodwill has flown the nest. The management sit back and get fist full of pounds, whilst we sweat it out doing the nitty gritty, I will do what I can in my shift outside off that you had better have your agency staff or your walking shoes at the ready. Just spoke to a mate at my former office. I won't say which office,but it's a large D.O.
He reckons that although they had 100% backing for the strike,apathy is rife.It seems a large proportion
of workers won't back I.A now the talks have broken down.
I feel it's essential that the CWU wash all the dirty linen in public, and let us all know exactly why the talks failed at such a late stage.If it was dirty trick tricks by RM, then that info may just sway the undecided into action.
