i would just like some opinions on this

IWT & IWWOD WORK FLOW

I am concerned that this is taking place without full consideration to the potential long term impact on employees health and safety before further changes are implemented in our delivery offices.

1. standing in the same position, should royal mail adopt rotation of staff to eleviate this in the planning stage to eleveate fatigue

2. Is anti fatigue matting being used in all areas of

3. Will chairs be supplied to every frame, including RM2000's allowing staff to sit when required?

4. what about staff doing 2 hour portering, then doing say a 4 hour delivery, what will be the level of fatigue

with these changes being implemented, no consideration or trials have been implemented and royal mail show total disregard to long term health and safety issues

i feel this is a breach by the employer royal mail under Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, General Duties of Employers to their Employees

the concerns raised are only for the inward flow, and not taking into account yet for new equipment as we do not have them at this moment

this is just parts of the letter to the dsm

comments please people and lets keep it factual

I agree and share your concerns. One point i would like to make is this. What is our paid officer Dave Joyce doing about all these problems?
Does Bob Gibson actualy talk to him?
