if i get loaned and the area is too far or too much hassle to get to what can i do about it

As far as I know if your loaned out to another office your DIM of your permanent office has to arrange transport for ferrying and picking you up from the loaned office.

Have a chat with your rep if your in the union he will give you advice on this or a good chap will be along shortly who is better informed than my good self.

What are your reasons for it being to much hassle is it family related are you a reserve ?

You turn up at your office at your start time. It's up to them to get you to and from your office to the other office within your start and finish times.

does that information still apply for me if im on a part time contract, 9 till 2 , 6 month temporary contract.

yeah im a reserve and its too much hassle due to bus fares\train fares, that i dont know the area at all, and the time i would have to wake up to get there on my own especially on a saturday.... also if my permanent office take me too and from the office im loaned too i doubt i would be able to complete the walk im put on.

Seriously though, if they're loaning you to another office, you just get yourself to your own office for your start time and let them worry about getting you there and back within your start and finish times

totally totally agree its is the business's issue to resolve not yours.
they either get you there and bring you back in your conditioned hours OR give you ETE payments.
but as you've said its the extra time.
get your rep on to it or the area rep its all covered off in national agreements

No but if you've got anything about you you'll make sure you've got it agreed prior to doing it, and that agreement should be in writing where possible unless you trust your DOM I don't so I'd get it in writing

locally a approach (which could include the use of volunteers and
reserves) to working in nearby offices within employees’ contracted
hours which will include travel times and appropriate travel and
subsistence arrangements.
