We have elections coming up in next few months I think and I am thinking of going for it beacause I love to help people :oops: and love rowing with damagers. :dcfo :ncfo :vcfo :nana :dance Can anyone point me in the direction of said form for members to vote for me on? Cheers :cuppa
We have to get very militant with some of these employers to say there's no shortcuts, our people have a right to a fair day's wage for a fair day's pay, and we've got to get that done. And that's going to happen.

Ask the current rep for a nomination form. If he doesn't oblige, phone your Branch Secretary. If you get nowhere, email your Regional Secretary. Make sure you get a copy of the election rules too.

Nomination form? Never heard of one. Blank piece of paper. Name, address who nominates you and for what role and what office and a seconder and then "I accept". Seal envelope and send to Branch Chairperson...simples.

For some reason, they made me jump through hoops and the Branch insisted on a postal ballot when I challenged and broke the eleven year reign of my predecessor. I won at the second attempt, despite management openly canvassing for my rival.
