As this is my first winter coming up does anyone know any decent thermal/waterproof gloves to use , so i can still hold bundles and deliver. I have a great pair of ski gloves but they are way too large to hold anything.

whatever pair you do use make sure there fingerless ! makes the job so much easier i think

seal skins they quite dear though but good look them up on the internet

When i was on delivery i had a pair of these which were great unless they got wet.

My left hand which held the bundle would have the mitten part pulled over so my hand was completly covered, my right hand would have the fingers exposed.

Strangely when actually on delivery during winter my hands don't get cold. I only wear any gloves when travelling home, or on the way out.

The bundles seem to keep my hands warm enough.

This will by my 12th winter and I never wear gloves on duty and I have done town duties and have now been o rural duty for my last three winters. I do cycle to work and would say my fingerless cycle gloves are great.

Get some PVC / rubber dotted gloves that way you can manipulate the letters with ease...

I don't bother with gloves,mostly its only the smokers that need gloves,due to bad circulation
