To get the best out of all layers of management, the well-paid sectors of RM, they have to have incentives, bonuses and all the other little addition to the trough they all get their snouts in to, this ensures they really try at their jobs. On the other hand, we, the lowly-paid, foot soldiers just have to work harder for no extra at all. Is it me or is thee something odd there?

Realy try hard ..... I don't think so, they are appointed managers to manage an office efficiently and fairly, for whatever reason they do very little of this as most of their day is spent doing posties work .

When they are not doing that more often than not they can be found in the office drinking tea, having the creik or generally idling their time away. On the odd occasion they find time to manage they on the whole do so with amazing in efficiency i.e never implementing H&S directives, ensuring total unfair distribution of any overtime / lapsing, ignoring bad behaviour and sciving conducted by the toadies, and generally harrasing and bullying those of us who choose to do the job by RM's own rules .....

Sorry I wouldn't pay 90% of them in washers never mind a bonus. Like you say there is something odd about all of this, they think they are ring fenced but be aware managers when all the dirty deeds are done your turn will come.....

The management structure in Royal Mail, from DOM to CEO, is quite frankly appalling.
They wouldn't be let anywhere near my Whelk stall. Had I one, that is.
