cutting off

So how many ppl on here cut off,and do alot of ppl in your office cut off.I work in a office of about 50 and nobody got balls to cut off apart from me and another guy.everybody is scared of management,and if anything I get abuse from other postmen for shafting the bloke who is on it the next day.really makes me angry as most ppl book ot,so its not a case of me being crap,just a case I don't want to go over my time.

I will, and have, cut off when I've had to. I will not go one second over my time for these twats, not one second, ever.

Why should it affect the guy who is on it the next day?
If you cut off...your cut off should be delivered that day.
If it isn't...it's a failure...if they are making no attempt to get it delivered it should be flagged up and your manager should be in the deepest of deep s**t.
If they try and fail to get it delivered then the next guy just has more to cut off.
Nobody is shafted.

just the same in our office nearly 40 of us if i ever cut off its like a f***ing crime,i wont be working in the dark this xmas that is a FACT.

Really annoys me as they all book overtime,so my point is I have stuff out of work to do,but they still have a go.so annoying.

It depends how much work ive got left,if its just 10-15 mins of delivery i will complete,any more i bring it back.
I dont like to do it but i live a long way from my workplace and have a 38 mile drive home

I always cut off on weds, thurs and friday!

Few other people cut off on those days too I think, not sure how many, not really bothered. My round can't be done in the time allowed so even if I was the only one cutting off... it's no sweat off my arse!

I just don't take it out if I know I'm going to be over, leave behind 30minutes or 60 minutes or whatever it'll take to get you finished on time, TBH I thought this was standard practice but 1600 different ways of working in RM

We (me and p+l partner) cut off most days so manager and union rep decided to test my walk today.
Managed to complete one and third off two walks.
Union rep mentioned about prep assisstance and get us out early to complete our duties.
Can RM make you do 5hr delivery ?
Thought delivery span was 4hr 10min using LWT, can anyone give me any information on
delivery span and H&S regarding fatigue.

why prep assistance if the delivery is to big

did you not do a post revison evaluation, it is in the six step process to address these issues

No revision was done , all they did was added lapsing onto our walks.
Union rep agreed to everything DOM wanted and now he's trying to justify that
walks can be done with prep assisstance.
BTW my union rep refuses to use trolley and arrives at depot 30-60min before his duty ends.
His excuse is too many hills!
