I was just wondering has any office that has gone through a revision managed to protect anyone with family friendly hours ?
Our DOM and planners have totally ignored all the family friendly staff in our office.
Any of the part-timers that have a family friendly in place are been asked to work full time can this be right ?
Is there anything we can do to stop this, as the manager will not talk to our rep about it, or give us anything in writting yet wants us to take his word that he will sort us out.

What do you mean won't talk to the rep! What kind of s**t is that!
Also no part timer can be forced to up or down their contracted hours,period.
Oh and rep should put a disagreement in pronto,and personally i would stop all revision activity.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

we have had our revision and are currently halfway through a repick
all family friendly and job share duties have been protected until the people on them have decided whether they wish to continue on them
