bristol strike ???
can any one help me here and tell me if bristol were on strike with regards to the SWW .
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

There has been no strike at the mail centre regarding shorter working week. The first half hour has been taken. The backdated half hours were saved up to produce two days extra annual leave. The backdating occurred when cwu and rm couldnt agree how the half hour would be taken, or if we'd have money etc. That took 32 weeks of lazy disscussion.

Update from Dave Wilshire from Facebook...
no. We eventually reached an agreement around the first half hour reduction although an associated issue is still being discussed. There was also an additional 2 days annual leave added to 2011/12 as a part of the deal. The second 30 minutes is still however outstanding
There is still an issue there re days in lieu for bank hols for some that is ongoing but think we can resolve retrospectively when next 30 mins comes in
