give a little thought guys as monday is my formal interview following a customer complaint.
seems im going to be sacked unless i can prove this is a set up so fingers crossed.

you should have rung the old bill to say this woman is harrassing you and making up accusations that could lead to you losing your job

Typical of RM, guilty until proven innocent! Someone at our D.O. is being harrassed on their walk and management choose not to involve police in the matter, just move the person from walk to walk, but if the shoe was on the other foot!...

you got it in one this is a fit up by royal mail but guess what meeting was called off 1 and a half hours before due to start been
9 weeks now since first meeting, and this is the 3rd time formal has been cancelled next week now.

i take it you had the fact finding

9 weeks is excesive and contrary to not only the IR frame work but also the disciplinary and conduct code

because r.m. can do and will do anything to get rid of you. take it you a full timer with a few years under your belt ? just the sort r.m dont want anymore. is postman8 guilty i dout it but good chance he be sacked for gross misconduct. so wrong

im waiting on my 4th formal interview date to be set
i cancelled 1 as they booked it for the first day of my area reps holiday royal mail cancelled the other 2 at short notice day before and 1 and a half hours before , its been about 2 weeks between each appointment that was set

I've had a read of what you've said. Your version of events sounds plausible to me and, as someone else said, why did the person not report the "assault" to the police?

If I was sat at interview with the DOM for this issue, I'd question his ability to deal with a criminal matter and ask why the police were not involved - to protect other citizens from this insanely violent postman!

Another question I've got is how did the matter come to the DOM's attention? I'm just thinking that the DO manager phone numbers are usually not too easy to get hold of. Did they go through customer services?

I wonder what the DOM's agenda is too? He should have passed the buck by saying an assault should be reported to the police. Then you would be facing court proceedings before a jury of your peers.
