DL/TS Closure

The following is from page 3 of the Newcastle Processing AGM held on the 6th Nov 11:

"This Meeting Agrees:

That there will be a repick for Tyneside APC staff only, for the subsequing duties/hours created by the additional mails/realignement of workload from Darlington/Teeside, at least 6 weeks prior to any Darlington/Teeside staff relocating.

In The event of this motion being carried at this meeting and not agreed with management and made to happen then no stafff from Darlington or Teeside will be offered any vacant duty but will be allocated as a shift reserve. Therefore having no right to be dealt with under the MTSF principles when applying for jobs.

At first glance it appears to be a very nasty move.
Some more details would help.

Newcastle Processing are hoping to get first choice at any driving duties. They want to make sure DL/TS just do bag tipping and DSA all day/night.

Newcastle Dist made it very clear they had nothing to do with that AGM.

Thats as much as I know really. I should have copied page 2 because that has some interesting points about what they want to happen to DL/TS.

Can anyone from Tyneside decipher and confirm or deny this post .I am from Darlington processing and we have been told that everyone including Tyneside will re-pick together.
