Torches

At the end of my round its almost impossible to make out the house numbers on the letters plus in the flats where there are broken or poorly lit landings later in the day its equally bad.
Is it down to RM to provide us with torches if they are expecting us to work later over the winter months?

Torches are available, just ask your DOM for one and if he won't supply one then get your H&S rep onto it

yes RM supply them - i get a new one every year -got a cupboard full of them

Just as your manager for a torch. We, at one time, had head torches for when we were on collections and the ones that clip onto your jacket for when you were on delivery. Head torches were fine until the one I had slipped down, hit the bridge of my nose and split the skin... blood everywhere!

We have torches but last year we were told that we couldn't have any money for batteries as we don't need to deliver in the dark
