some of you will know Our office is gong through the revision consultation process, infact, i am going to the weekly planning meeting tomorow,
this morning i found out they are messing with annual leave,(thats another thread) but i have now been informed

THREE WALKS WILL BE LAPSED ALL YEAR , THEY MUST BE COMPLETED, AND IF NECESSARY PAYING OVERTIME TO THOSE THAT FAIL TO COMPLETE IN THE DUTY SPAN (ENFORCED OVERTIME)

I AM TYPING UP MY SECOND DISAGREEMENT TODAY AS WE SPEAK TO BE GIVEN AT TOMOROWS MEETING

That's not lapsing Keith it's deliberate understaffing.
How is that going to fly in the weekly resource meeting?
Who is on duty 1 next week?...nobody....,duty 2?...nobody,duty 3...that guy...who?...nobody.

Why are the bits of the lapsed duties just not added to the duties that will be covering them? How many duties will be covering them?
I thought the whole point of the model week and flexing up was to reduce lapsing opportunities.
If people have the time to do them every day, why isn't it just a permanent addition to the duty?
Who is going to prep them, provide conveyance, drop bags etc?

How often is lapsing time just meal break time or starting early time or skipping off the IPS when no-one is looking time or stick 20kg in the bag and save some time that way time or use my own car time or f**k the trolleys time or doorstep and fire the recorded through the door time.
That time doesn't exist on paper.

They cannot enforce it! It needs ppl in that office to stand up to managers and not rush around just to do the extra bit!

But 3 walks is approx 12 hours/day or 72 hours/week.
That's 3,500 hours/year or approx £35 000 a year.
They seriously think they can get £35 grand of free work from the early starters/break skippers/flyers?
a) that is no way to run a business
b) are they all muppets in this DO?
