Just a simple question for you all ......
To what extent do The Royal Mail take on board/or listen,to any advice that they are given via ATOS and my GP's thoughts and report ....

Think in your case they will agree with ATOS. As soon as IHR is mentioned they will be happy to get rid imho. As long as ATOS recommends that then I'm pretty sure they will agree with it

If ATOS recommend IHR you'll be out the door quicker than you can say P45, going from my experiance.

I had an atos phone call yesterday as my dom did not want to implement what they had advised, consequently in him trying to get me to work at a mail centre,( which i refuse to do)
I said to atos my dom has an issue with me, as I can do a delivery with the tools provided, but not in his unrealistic time,
I also pointed out to them that I am awaiting for an appointment of having a meeting set up with my doms manager Area CWU rep and Disability champion., I think she was a bit shocked with this reply, so i said I also had injections in my back last week from the hospital, and until I return to work next week that I am not sure how this will afffect my back.
She has now said to have a 1-1 interview with a atos doctor so that he can prepare a report to be sent to the dom. my reply was only if it means that i will not be asked to leave on IHR, I also said in the 2-3yrs I have had back problem not once have I taken any time off with it.
So now I am waiting on 2 meetings, only positive my dom is off for a few weeks, so should not get too much harrassment
