Yes, today was my last day working for RM. Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU :Applause to this forum for letting me get a lot of things, some good, some bad, off my chest! Also a big thanks to all the people that have replied to me by PM.
After 22 years on delivery I had had enough and couldnt see things getting any better as far as work and my health. It is such a shame that RM as it used to be, no longer exists, and in the last few years has been ruined by ill- informed greedy managaement. Good luck everyone as i think you are going to need it. I will be keeping my eye on this forum and will keep reading your posts as they do bring a smile to my face. :Very Happy A BIG BIG THANKYOU. :wave :wave :wave

All the best and congratulations on getting out ! 22yrs is a great achievement that's 10 more than me and I'm sure if the job wasn't being F up by incompetent and greedy people you would have stayed ! Very sad but like you say the RM is no longer the same and defiantly a younger persons job who doesn't know how things used to be !! We all accept change but the work loads etc are NOT humanly possible nor managable and the business on the whole must be on the change behind the scenes on a huge scale :( very VERY sad to see someone with years of experience etc behind them but it does seem they want this and then newcomers will not know any different ! One things for sure though doubt their body will cope 22yrs of being in the job as it is now ! Good luck mate

Good luck with your future ,the guys who i bump into who have now left[mainly retired] all look 10 years younger,all that early morning is no good for anybody

All I got when I left my office was a dose of Norovirus to remember the place by :Boo hoo!
