Hi..just a quickie..if two people go for the same job in another office does seniority come into it as to who gets it?

I think it depends on what the job actually entails,
"Suitability" is sometimes used as an excuse by management to get certain staff into particular jobs,
in my office, this was used when CSS machine operators were required,
basically if u had a high amount of sick leave, u didn't stand a chance !

Yes

There are some exceptions but not many, Teebs has the list somewhere but I think RLE duty and DOM support are excluded.

that would be the office brown noser then

all jobs are done on seniority unless its the old opgs grade

any speialist jobs as such would require an interview process

As "Seniority" starts from the date you joined Royal Mail.....it shouldn't make any difference what office you're in, or going to. I reckon it should make a difference. Go for it!
