Hi all ive been back with royal mail for 3 months and due a contract extension. Office has gone through changes and staff are due a 600 payment for changes to working hours etc. Where does this leave the part time staff and staff on temp contracts? The changes effect us newbies and i have the uniform but theres some lads been here for 7 motnhs and some 1 month and changes effect us all so where does this bonus state with us?
I rang HR helpline and they say its at managers discretion. How can this be when these changes effect us all and we have trained to do one job yet our whole working pattern and job routes have changed. How can some folk be paid for changes yet some dont. Im confused
Please advise

HR are f***ing useless i would NEVER listen to anything they say,managers can't pick and choose who gets what.I rang HR helpline and they say its at managers discretion.
With regards to the temp contract guys,i'm not sure if this has been covered on here before with regards to revision payments,hopefully our resident guru will know.
Part timers will get the payments pro rata.

There might be small print of you need to be there for 12 months to qualify for it. (Just a possiblilty)
