anyone else have hassle with schools who expect their mail early.
They already get special treatment when we hold their mail during end of year and half term
I tell them if they want it before 9am they can have that facility but you have to pay for it otherwise you get it when I get to them during my delivery

any enquiries and they are politely told that the delivery time is anywhere between 9 and 3 and as long as it arrives between these times we have fulfilled our contract

unless they want to pay extra then they can have a timed delivery - which they never do

and they also have to have a hold mail in during the holidays - in my office anyway they dont like it but they do it

the school i deliver to are just happy to get mail each day,,,on my day off the cover cant be bothered to take it,,,endorsing it,,"cant find entrance" and alike because the school is a bit of a walk from the streets of my walk.

come school hols i.e next week the boss will let me go 2 or 3 days at most,,,if i cant get the mail delivered he FORCES me to kill it off because they havent paid for a retension,,,myself i reckon this is crap on his behalf.

the school do pay for the keepsafe in the main summer hols lucky enough

We always had an ad hoc agreement with the schools in our area, but strictly speaking they should just be treated as businesses as I understand it.We also held their stuff during half-term if thats what they wanted .Have a feeling they had a KeepSafe for the summer also.

All the schools in our manor(about 10)are firms and are delivered by the drivers.

Without a keepsake we don't hold their mail for any break of term time in our area.
DOM says if they have a letterbox we deliver, if not it's RTS

All authorities/councils/whatever were sent letters a few years back from RM about their free keep safe's,it's a no no and officially the work should be rts'd if there are no letter boxes available.
