Are there any reasons for changing start times if after having a WSM revision the mail still arrives at the same time as at present?

Royal Mail is misleading people on this. Misinformation is being used to defer start times in delivery.
CWU Position
Workplan is a failure. Workplan supports innovative attendance patterns not the other way round. Manual mail is generally available about 04:45 for transfer to Delivery Offices.

How about if Regional Rep has agreed to a release of £200 to change attendance in line with 7:00 - 15:00.
Management want it in a 6 week period but I havent agreed it locally.

It means your Regional rep is a Divi.
Unless he has managed to negotiate you an extra £200 over the £1000 in Transformation Lump Sums we are all due. But I doubt it.

Yes hes a Divisional Rep.
As Delivery Revisions are slow in being implemented he negotiated £200 out of the £800 to be released so that we could change our attendance times. This is because CSS mail will be coming later, still had no actual timing for my office.
The rumour started that I had actually agreed implementation in 6 weeks, previous rep thinks I should stick to National Agreements.

Your Divi Rep is a divvy.
If you change the start times:
Are Family Friendly duties being proposed for anyone who will have child care issues with a 3pm finish?
Are you getting more Saturdays off to compensate for the later Saturdays?
How will 1pm Special deliveries be resourced?
Are you really going to change your start times in December?

If you get walk sequenced mail you should have a revision. That revision entitles you to £800 and the 39hr week. (2.5% pay rise)
Otherwise all you are doing is selling your Saturdays for £200. I bet the Divi Rep isn't selling his Saturdays so cheaply. He should be ashamed.
