Re: april pay rise
from the agreement:
Approach to third year basic pay review
Both parties are approaching the future with a positive expectation that deployment of this agreement will ensure that transformation is delivered, leading to an improvement in company performance and a successful and sustainable future for the organisation.
Given this, there will be an increase in pensionable pay, overtime and allowances of 3.5%. This will be revisited if the average RPI for January to March 2012 is outside the expected range of 2%-3%.

Re: april pay rise
Look on the bright side Fish. There will probably be 10,000 fewer of us by 2012 which means we will have the benefit of more lapsing in 2012 to go along with the zilch we got for colleague shares, the zilch many of us have received for BT2010 Agreement, and zilch that we are likely to receive in April, add that to the race to the bottom in wages, and the outlook couldn,t be brighter.

Re: april pay rise
Sensible question BWF but I find it totally irrelevant in todays RM.
We've had some PT colleagues asked to cover 50 or 60 hours worth of Duty for a few weeks and then having the Over Time "Pulled from under them" and being screwed down to their 22.5 hour contracted hours for weeks at a time. Why? Because suddenly RM "hasn't got any money"!
Until the mail picks up and then they've got some!
So worrying about what sort of Pay Rise you might get next year seem totally pointless.

Re: april pay rise
Really? PTs still getting overtime to make up their hours in my orifice, which lets face it is the only way they can earn a living wage - if it wasn't for this I would guess many would f**k off elsewhere to do another job!Dorset Plodder wrote:We've had some PT colleagues asked to cover 50 or 60 hours worth of Duty for a few weeks and then having the Over Time "Pulled from under them" and being screwed down to their 22.5 hour contracted hours for weeks at a time.
