Depends what you mean by having confidence:

That they will change their management style - NO
That they will eventually realize the skill and commitment of their employees is an asset. - NO
That the stick is no use without a carrot. - NO
That they will survive privatisation - NO
That they know what they are oing with P&L. - NO.

I have complete confidence that senior management will continue to line their own pockets as they run the service down
I have complete confidence that our welfare, terms, conditions, input, lives and hopes are merely a hindrance to RM, to be brushed aside or crushed at the earliest convenience.
