overtime rates/deals

just wondering what deals different offices get.

our office we get 1hr 15mins for a row and 2hr 30mins for half a walk.

5hrs for taking out the full walk, or 6hrs for prepping it and delivering it.

Also do any offices get any deals regarding delivering packets on overtime?

we dont, its just.... say 2hrs...... for 2hrs work.

You got some good deals there mate but 6 hours for full prep and delivery is abit tight no?

It used to be an hour a bag at our place but with P&L now i think your payed for what you work been along time since i did any extra for them.

Our office depends on how desperate the managers are. You just hold off til you get the best deal. Managers don't want to do delivery.

1hr 30mins for 1/4 walk, 3hrs for 1/2 walk, 6hrs for full walk etc. prepped during ips time

To work your day off:
Only cover pressure on my own round nowadays, but did ask out of interest...... They get 4 hours, so I should imagine they strugle to clear £25. Just not worth it in our office in my opinion but some people need every penny they can get with how wages have gone v prices going up and up .....

6hrs for a full walk which is preped during IPS. Normally they are split into thirds, so 2 hrs per third.

8 hours for a rural or 2 per row
6 hours for a walk or 1 1/2 per row or whatever you can negotiate !

Half a walk 2hrs 15mins or 2hrs 30 for a longer half.

Although as mentioned before, if you huff and puff and do the old sharpe in take of breath through gritted teeth, the rate tends to go up a touch, especially if there are not many posties left in the building and it looks more and more likley that managers are going to have to do the delivery.

I'm not proud of the play acting, but it does fit in nicley with the play acting of the lino, being all nicey nice and having a bit of small talk with you prior to asking for the OT.

if I cut off a row ( 2 loops)and they ask me to go over they will pay me only 1 hours overtime.
If i cut off and they give it to someone else to do on docket they get 2 hours, how does that work them?

What is our hourly rate now? I've got to put in an expenses claim for 7hrs and don't have a clue what to put down.

About £9.50 or £9.75 if you are on a 39hr week.
