We have had a split system since SDD came in, but now we are being told that we must take all our MR in one block before leaving the office when later starts come in. I prefer that, as the "end of duty" MR never really provided a break and often was used for an early finish at the delivery officers expense.
TAKE YOUR BREAK - YOU ARE PAID FOR IT - IF YOU DON'T REST, YOUR HEALTH WILL PAY FOR IT.

We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

In all honesty any meal relief should be taken at the individual's own free will.
If you want it at the end of your duty then fine but i have always encourage to have it before you left for your delivery. There is no way in hell any prick of a manager can tell you when you should have your meal relief they are flexible but on your terms ONLY!

Our new late starts shift patterns have gone up and yes they are split 1 - 20 minutes around 1/2 way through and 1 at end of walk. Apparently this has been in for a while but most ignore it and take it at the end of the walks/
