working day off

if you work on your day off on delivery how many hours do you get , we used to get 8 hours , now its 7.48 But today i was told that i would only get 6 hours 30 mins and i have to do walk sorting as well or i can do 6 hours and no walk sorting , i dont think i can do all my job in 6 hours so could i claim more if i go over ,?
the 6 hours and 6 and half hours are at S A rate , is this right , apparently this was discussed in todays conference call , advice please....

nope 6hours or 6 30 if you do the sorting and not a minute more , cant see many doing it to be honest , i dont as a rule but thought i would this week as i was asked

6 hours - 2 hours for sorting 3.5 hours for delivery and .5 for bits in between. It is easier day for full timers. It can be useful for floating week off but it is not great but it paid for my last holiday in one week work. It is better than doing half of walk overtime.

I know it depends on the office but some have 6hrs to prep and do walk,the 2hrs (IPS) is absorbed.

I wouldn't come in at for less than 8hrs they are clearly taking the michael, come in for less how will it be before it becomes 5 or 4 hours ? even 2hrs ! I wouldn't put anything past these chancers

7.50 SA, does not change whether rest day falls on a Mon/Tues/Sat. No shorts or longs on rest day working !

I am PT but if they just all said 'no' to getting paid less and less then they'd have to pay them the full amount - can't see further than their noses though.

I'm a 6hr day. 30 mins meal break. But you do everything except IPS. It does not work very well.

We are down to 5 hours to work day off... But your round is prepped!!!
