GUIDANCE ON REQUESTING LEAVE LINKED TO RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS

Following on from a number of enquiries relating to our members having problems securing leave linked to their religious festivals, we thought it would be useful to offer some guidance on this subject.

Attached is a document that details both the legal position and clarification on how members can maximise their prospects of securing any leave required in this respect. It is our aim to try to reduce the number of people who are being denied leave and we believe this document should be very helpful in assisting members in this regard.

The document is self-explanatory, although if there are any queries, please do not hesitate contact my department.
