Chrismas Casual Recruiting Later?

Are Royal Mail interviewing alot later this year because last year when I worked for them I had an interview at the beginning of October everytime I log on to my applications it just says status:application received but from looking around are Angard involved? who are they? is it some agency? is this why everything is taking longer this year?

Angard is the agency set up by Royal Mail to recruit temporary staff (and get round new agency staff legal rights?).
And like nearly everything organised by RM management it seems to be a shambles.

I worked as a casual 2 years ago, i assume direct from RM, and was interviewed in November..

Had my interview with them today. I think they've really f****d up tbh there was about 40 people crammed into a tiny little reception area with 5 contracts to read between them went in at 12 and got out at 1.30. Spent about 15 mins filling out forms the rest was standing in a queue of people.
